Leadership, not Politics

I am a husband, father, Entrepeneur, and for the last 4 years I have been your representative on the Western Placer Unified School District Board of Trustees. I am NOT a politician.

I am asking for your support again as I run for a second term. I am proud of the work we have done, and we have more work to do.

  • During COVID we got our kids safely back in the classroom months before other districts

  • We respected the rights of our staff that chose not to receive the COVID vaccine and provided testing

  • We authorized more raises for our staff unseen for more than 15 years

  • We invested more money in safety than ever before including the addition of a third Student Resource Officer

  • We supported the formation of a Student Senate

My Platform

Safety & Engagement

I believe the young people learn when they feel safe and a part of a community. Once we feel like we belong we can challenge our boundaries. I will ensure that Western Placer Unified remains a place where every student can feel safe and find their place.

Young People that are Anti-Fragile

Learning to fail is a critical part of becoming a healthy and successful adult. I challenge our staff and administrators to give our kids real problems to solve. Let them work things out, fail and try again. Growing from adversity turns kids into Anti-Fragile adults.

Career and/or College Ready

I left high school and went straight to EMT school. I turned that Community College certificate into a career as a Paramedic. College is not the only path to a phenomenal life. I chair our Career Technical Education program and champion the trades because it made me who I am.
